1936 Ford Tudor | LT1 V8, Custom by Posies, Vintage Air, Wilwood Brakes
Route 61 Classics is proud to present this one-of-a-kind 1936 Ford Tudor—an elegantly customized street rod crafted by the renowned Posies Rods and Customs of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania. With $230,000 in build receipts and just 11,242 miles since completion in the early 2000s, this stunning example of craftsmanship combines high-end performance, modern comfort, and classic steel-bodied style.
Powering this showstopper is a 5.7L fuel-injected LT1 V8 engine, dressed with 1994–1996 Corvette-style fuel rail covers and a polished chrome dress-up kit. It's backed by a 4L60 4-speed automatic transmission and Ford 9-inch rear end with 3.70 gears. Coated headers and a Borla dual exhaust system give this build a refined yet aggressive sound.
The steel body has been refinished in an eye-catching pink with iridescent stripes and black pinstriping. A black vinyl roof, hood side louvers, frenched driving lights, chrome dual mirrors, and rubber-treaded running boards complete its show-ready look. It sits on a color-matched TCI boxed steel frame and polished 15-inch Torque Thrust wheels wrapped in Yokohama Avid Touring-S tires.
Inside, the reupholstered white leather interior offers both comfort and style with a bench seat, tilting front seatbacks, center armrest, and matching white door panels. Black carpeting, a tight headliner, and tinted windows add to the clean aesthetic. A white-painted steel dash houses VDO gauges, while the Colorado Custom billet steering wheel with wireless multifunction controller adds flair and function. The Ididit tilt column, power windows, cruise control, overhead lights, Blaupunkt AM/FM/CD stereo, and Vintage Air round out the creature comforts.
Built to drive, it features an independent front suspension, rear leaf springs, and four-wheel hydraulic dampers. Power rack-and-pinion steering and Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes with billet Dynalite polished calipers ensure smooth, modern road manners.
